The TunerMizer UFO is an innovation by Terry Parks that precisely tunes the exhaust (flue) stack on fossil-fuel heating and production equipment so it runs at its full designed performance while wasting far less fuel. It fits equipment of almost any size — from home water heaters, furnaces, and space, hydronic, and pool heaters all the way up to large production heaters and industrial hot-water and steam boilers.

By improving the fuel burn and keeping the hot gases in the heat exchanger longer, it stops costly heat from escaping up the stack — what’s known as “stack loss” — and keeps saving even between heating cycles. The result is typically about 20% less energy use (and an even bigger cut in overall operating cost), along with lower CO₂ and other harmful emissions. The name “UFO” stands for Ultimate Flue Optimization: once it’s set, it keeps working continuously with no moving parts to wear out.
